Respiratory Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to deliver exceptional respiratory care and collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
  • Administer oxygen and various respiratory therapies, such as bronchodilators, nebulizers, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Perform pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analyses to evaluate patient conditions.
  • Provide mechanical ventilation support and monitor patients on ventilators to ensure optimal respiratory function.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and effective disease management strategies.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited school.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Current Arkansas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • BLS and ACLS Certification.
