Career Opportunity for Pulmonology Specialist

CoxHealth is seeking a Pulmonology Specialist to provide direct care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit environment. Responsibilities include resuscitation, advanced cardiac and trauma life support, prescription of therapeutic agents, and invasive and non-invasive monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will have an M.D., D.O. or foreign degree equivalent and must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine and in Pulmonary Disease Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions.
  • Discuss patient and management of care with other physicians as needed.
  • Monitor patients conditions and progress, determining and evaluating appropriate treatments.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results and treatment plans with patients.
