Nursing Director RN

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Director RN to lead our resident care team. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and wellness of our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting a culture of excellence in care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership for resident care, managing and directing the nursing team to promote the health and wellness of our residents.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other clinical providers to coordinate care and services for our residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each resident receives personalized attention and support.
- Manage medication care programs, ensuring resident safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Lead quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives, tracking and trending clinical quality data to identify risk and improve resident care outcomes.
- Recruit, hire, and train clinical team members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality care.
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state/provincial and board of nursing requirements.
