Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Youth Soccer Lead to join our dynamic team at i9 Sports - North & West Denver, CO. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing a team of officials, ensuring games are on time, staff is well-trained, and providing a safe and fun environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Game Management: Manage a team of officials, ensuring games are on time, staff is well-trained, and providing breaks and conflict management.
  • Culture Development: Cultivate a positive culture with staff, players, and coaches, promoting a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • Game Officiation: Officiate flag football games for youth teams, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all participants.
  • Rule Enforcement: Enforce game rules and regulations to maintain fair and competitive play.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle any conflicts or disputes that may arise in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with coaches and other officials to address any concerns and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Reliability: Be punctual and reliable, showing up for scheduled games and assignments on time and fully prepared.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills and act as a positive role model for young athletes.
  • Values Alignment: Uphold the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect throughout all interactions with players, coaches, and spectators.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Soccer referee is essential.
  • Management Experience: Management experience is needed.
  • Rule Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of flag football rules and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate decisions clearly and confidently.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to handle on-field situations efficiently.
  • Dependability: Dependable and punctual with a commitment to attending scheduled games and events.
  • Child Interaction: Ability to work well with children and maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
  • Officiating Certification: Officiating certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility in working weekends and evenings during the season.
