Job Summary

The Official plays a vital role in ensuring a fun, learning, and safe experience for all players, coaches, and spectators. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and solve problems.

Responsibilities
  • Enforce i9 Sports rules and regulations to maintain a positive and safe environment.
  • Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values, to players and coaches.
  • Manage game time and scorekeeping, ensuring an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude throughout the game.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
  • Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety.
  • Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the duration of the season.
  • Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.
