Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction
    • Greet customers and address their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide a positive and professional customer service experience by actively listening to customer needs and empathizing with their concerns.
  • Service Coordination
    • Conduct an in-depth inspection of the customer's vehicle to identify apparent tire and entry-level mechanical issues.
    • Document the customer's concerns and collect relevant information to ensure accurate service recommendations.
    • Recommend tires and services based on the vehicle's condition and customer needs.
    • Provide clear explanations of recommended services, including costs and timeframes.
  • Scheduling and Administration
    • Create detailed work orders for service technicians, including a description of customer concerns, recommended services, and any additional notes.
    • Coordinate and schedule service appointments for customers, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of services.
    • Manage the service department's schedule to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Communication and Follow-up
    • Communicate customer concerns and vehicle issues to service technicians, ensuring accurate diagnosis and repair.
    • Follow up with customers to provide updates on the status of their vehicles and ensure satisfaction with service received.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
    • Technical or vocational training courses in automotive repair, tire technology, or a related field a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and relay information clearly and effectively.
    • Strong focus on delivering high-quality customer service, with the ability to listen to customer needs, empathize with their concerns, and ensure a positive service experience.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and appointments efficiently, maintaining accurate records and schedules.
    • Proficiency in using computer systems, including POS software, appointment scheduling software, and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Personal Qualities
    • Willingness to pursue TIA certification with company support and assistance.
    • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
