Job Title: Hazardous Material Technician

Global 1st Flagship Company is seeking a skilled Hazardous Material Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Marine Support Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials on our naval vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of vessels and facilities to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Investigate and report on safety and environmental incidents, including accidents and near-misses.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on hazardous materials handling and safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as hazardous materials handling or environmental compliance.
  • Working knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
