Job Title: Waste Transportation Specialist

Veolia North America is seeking a skilled Waste Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials from customer sites to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and integrity of equipment
  • Review shipment records, manifests, and container labeling to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, including load weight limits and driver log books
  • Consult with customers to resolve load conditions, drum counts, or paperwork inconsistencies
  • Notify supervisors of any moving violations or accidents
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials at designated sites
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of CDL driving experience with tanker and Haz endorsement
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior commercial driving experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Time management skills with ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
