Position Overview:
The Customer Service Team Lead plays a crucial role in supporting the supervisory and management teams within the customer service department. This position is integral to the success of the call center, focusing on maintaining analytical reports to monitor performance, driving process enhancements, and fostering strong relationships with support units to maximize customer satisfaction. The Team Lead also steps in to support the Manager during their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support daily reports and analytics utilizing intermediate Excel skills, SAP, and SFDC. Ensure timely handling of inquiries while meeting all service level agreements (SLAs) on assigned projects.
- Assist with data analysis initiatives and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Follow up on all pending requests, ensuring appropriate and timely responses.
- Support internal team members and address inquiries as directed by the Customer Service Manager, employing sound judgment to meet both internal and external customer needs.
- Provide management with feedback on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in meeting customer needs. Recommend improvements to processes and procedures to the appropriate management personnel. Assist in training efforts and suggest enhancements for training tools and processes.
- Contribute to the productivity of analytics as required.
- Promote Stericycle products and services during customer interactions.
- Offer constructive feedback and guidance for improvement to the management team.
- Deliver leadership and training to all associates in a professional and positive manner, supporting corporate objectives and departmental goals.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education Requirements:
Preferred education includes an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements:
• Equivalent education to an Associate's Degree in Business or related field, with a strong foundation in data analytics.
• A minimum of three years of experience in customer service, customer retention, or sales environments, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative in fulfilling customer requirements.
• Proficient knowledge of Stericycle business systems, including intermediate Excel, Windows Suite, Microsoft Word & Outlook, Steriworks, SAP, Manifest Archive, Roadnet, and SFDC. Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute is required.
