About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join Thomas Edwards Group as a Controller. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting operations and a proven track record of managing teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the CEO and management team
  2. Accounting Operations: Manage month-end close processes, bi-weekly payroll, and daily accounting tasks
  3. Expense Management: Review, approve, and post monthly expense reports
  4. Benefit Administration: Coordinate benefit programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  5. Insurance Renewal: Participate in the annual process for renewal of all corporate insurance lines
  6. BPP Filings: Oversee BPP filings for the retail, office, and warehouse locations
  7. Documentation: Maintain proper and updated documentation for all accounting functions, processes, and procedures
  8. Budgeting: Prepare budgets and manage forecasting process
  9. Financial Analysis: Compile accurate monthly financial statements and provide analysis on business trends and key metrics

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 8+ years' experience
  • QuickBooks Online and Bill.com experience
  • Strong leadership skills

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
