Position OverviewWe are currently seeking skilled electronics assemblers/technicians with mechanical aptitude to construct and maintain components of our instrumentation systems. This is a full-time role. As a technician at Mesotech, you will undergo training in electro-mechanical assembly, system integration, and troubleshooting. You will acquire valuable experience in production, testing, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret and comprehend assembly drawings, bills of materials, and assembly guidelines.
- Assemble, repair, and evaluate meteorological instrumentation systems and their components.
- Utilize hand tools to construct electronic enclosures, including cable assemblies and circuit boards.
- Conduct circuit board testing and rework as necessary.
- Engage in various electronic, electrical, and mechanical assembly tasks related to the production and repair of meteorological measurement systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Basic education in electronics or equivalent experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
- Proficient with hand tools and electronic assembly equipment (screwdrivers, wire strippers, soldering irons, etc.).
- Must pass a thorough background check by the US Department of Defense.
- This position requires access to ITAR restricted information (must be a US Person).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a related field.
Mesotech offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18 to $25, depending on experience. Mesotech is committed to equal opportunity employment.
