  • Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate supplier performance and manage any issues related to delivery delays, product defects, or pricing discrepancies.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate purchasing records, create reports on procurement metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with sourcing and procurement techniques, including vendor management.
    • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and develop procurement strategies.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in global sourcing and working with international suppliers.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in the industry.
  • Certification in Purchasing (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM or similar).
