Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance; supervisory experience not required.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration; parts inventory and requisition experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of hotel engineering and maintenance software and systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
