Job Title: Senior Vice President of Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President of Operations to lead our regional operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing clinical, operational, financial, and process improvements across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional operational business plans to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement in cost management and lead initiatives to achieve cost leadership.
  • Set goals, monitor work projects, and evaluate results to ensure organizational objectives and operating requirements are met.
  • Empower emerging leaders through coaching and mentorship, and design succession and career development strategies.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and regulatory departments to ensure adherence to expected standards.
  • Collaborate with business development on clinical excellence differentiators.
  • Drive quality metrics to increase performance on Hospice quality and support clinical distinction initiatives.
  • Manage regional operations and business development performance by advising, guiding, coaching, and holding regional leadership accountable for Amedisys goals and objectives.
  • Support and participate in periodic review and inspection of locations' compliance to policies and procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Leverage technology to create solutions to problems of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strengthen an Amedisys culture of trust, respect, and quality care by being a role model to others.
  • Provide leadership to a large workforce, increase employee engagement through creating a positive culture of accountability and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field. Master's degree in Healthcare Management preferred OR a licensed physician, physical therapist, registered nurse, or related field.
  • Ten years of supervisory or administrative experience in hospice/home health care or related health programs.
  • Experience managing a $50M+ organization.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of regulations and reimbursement in hospice/home health care.
