Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at XCAL Shooting Sports and Fitness. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers and electronic equipment.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Collect payments in cash or credit and issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
- Redeem stamps and coupons, and cross-sell products.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information.
- Greet customers and maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in Sales.
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment.
- Good math skills and strong communication and time management skills.
- Customer satisfaction-oriented.
