Civil Project Manager/Senior Civil Project Manager

Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager/Senior Civil Project Manager to join our Transportation Design Group in our Washington, DC office location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the successful execution of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for cross-selling Timmons Group services.
  • Oversee marketing and business development efforts, technical quality, profitability, and project staff coordination.
  • Negotiate scopes and fees, manage billing and collections, and maintain client follow-up communications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional registration (P.E., L.S., etc.) in one or more states where Timmons Group operates.
  • 8-10 years of experience in roadway design, traffic, and transportation engineering, including projects for local Departments of Transportation (DOTs).
  • Strong understanding of project accounting and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in marketing, supervision of technical work, and technical and office support software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
