Job Summary

At Vision Care Clinic, P.C. (C), we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optometric Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our optometrists and patients.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Greeting and Insurance Verification: Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, verify insurance coverage, and update patient records as needed.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patient appointments, coordinate with optometrists and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Answer patient phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform daily balancing, manage patient records, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various instruments and technology, including computer software and hardware.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and a commitment to providing top-quality patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior experience as an Optometric Technician or in the optical industry is preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
