Job Description

Oracle's Application Development Platform team is responsible for creating cutting-edge technology platforms that empower both Oracle's apps and customers to build next-generation, intelligent, and feature-rich application extensions.

This platform includes Visual Builder Studio, Oracle JET, as well as a set of services for search and business objects.

Visual Builder Studio is the framework for application development on web and mobile platforms.

Oracle JET is a collection of open-source JavaScript libraries along with a set of Oracle-contributed JavaScript libraries that make it as simple and efficient as possible to build applications that consume and interact with Oracle products and services, especially Oracle Cloud services.

We are seeking a senior developer to join the team. Responsibilities include:

  • Architecting, designing, and implementing new features
  • Assisting other technical employees (QA, Documentation, and Marketing)
  • Providing technical assistance to customers

Career Level - IC4

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures.

You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing, and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Software development experience of more than seven years is preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills

Framework design and development with a good understanding of the impacts and attention to details

Expertise in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experience with Bootstrap, React, or similar products is a bonus

Self-motivated and great interest in user interface and experience work

Team player, adapt well to changing work requirements

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Hiring Range:

from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries, and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off:

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

11 paid holidays

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
