Production Technician

At Interroll Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and disassembling drum motor products, performing equipment setup and operation, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and disassemble drum motor products using complex drawings or blueprints as reference sources.
- Perform equipment setup, operation, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet all standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Run tests on all assemblies and equipment to test for safety and productivity before they are put into production.
- Perform test of final product utilizing test panels and customer specified set-up; troubleshoot failures and direct rework.
- Identify potential solutions and attempt to troubleshoot issues using technical knowledge.
- Responsible for maintaining quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure they conform with specifications and codes.
- Operate production line hand tools/machinery and handle equipment starting and stopping activities during each designated shift.
- Complete daily production logs (may be manual entry or via scanner).
- Perform minor preventive maintenance (PMs) on production line machinery. Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess at least two years of similar or related experience.
- Possess the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
- Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, technical procedures, and regulations.
- Possess basic production mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Possess the ability to read and interpret a variety of machine gauges, monitors, and electronic instrument panels required in the set-up and production of products.
- Possess teamwork and strong interpersonal skills. Possess the ability to communicate effectively with all Interroll employees in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
- Possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written, or diagram form.
- Possess the ability to utilize measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers. Must have ability to wear/use approved applicable safety equipment.
This position works indoors in a manufacturing (warehouse) environment. Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold. This position is occasionally exposed to oil, grease, or dirt, and to the risk of electrical shock. A loud noise level is typical for the work environment of this job.
