The Maintenance Technician position at FedUp Foods is a critical role that requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to perform preventative maintenance and respond to facility and manufacturing equipment maintenance & repair. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Facilities Maintenance: Perform maintenance tasks on facility systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production leadership to improve equipment and system reliability and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods of time.
