Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and formulate treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal and joint problems.
  • Assist physicians in examining and diagnosing patients, and provide support during surgical procedures.
  • Order and interpret test results, and recommend treatment for patients.
  • Administer injections as needed, and provide postoperative patient care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records of patients' assessments, surgical procedures, and post-operative care.
Requirements:
  • Active RI PA license or eligibility for a license as a PA/NP in RI.
  • 2+ years of experience as an orthopedic PA/NP or a new PA/NP graduate with orthopedic experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication skills to deal effectively with staff, patients, and physicians.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient records.
