Speech-Language Therapist

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients. Your expertise will be essential in assessing and treating individuals with speech and language disorders, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language evaluations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients with various speech problems and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses.
- Provide speech and language services to clients, monitoring disease progression and adjusting treatments accordingly.
- Instruct clients in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises.
- Ensure all speech and language related standards, policies, protocols, and quality requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
