As a Morning Cook, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, contributing to an environment that values respect, empowerment, and exceptional service. If you possess a friendly demeanor and a strong desire to serve, this role may be the ideal fit for you.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the menu and recipes.
  • Execute daily tasks, including the preparation of menu items, with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate daily preparation lists.
  • Ensure the freshness of products on the hot line and pantry station.
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Sous Chefs regarding kitchen needs.
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards.
  • Participate in all departmental and safety training sessions.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to think clearly, remain composed, and solve problems using sound judgment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Willingness to stand or walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Riverside County Food Handlers Card.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is essential.

Compensation:
Starting pay is $23.00 per hour. This range reflects what Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to offer, with actual compensation varying based on individual qualifications and experience.
