The Environmental Services Aide role at SCA Health is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction. As part of our Operating/Procedure rooms team, you will assist with transporting, lifting, and positioning patients for surgery, while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough room turnovers, including cleaning furniture and equipment
  • Ensure the removal of soiled laundry and emptiness of trash receptacles
  • Provide stretchers for patient transportation as needed
  • Restock scrub sink supplies, hair and shoe coverings, masks, and other personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies
  • Maintain area/departments in an orderly and organized fashion
  • Perform daily and weekly inventory of supplies and notify appropriate personnel of order needs
  • Collaborate with the team on inventory management tasks

To be successful in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum one year of job-related experience in an inpatient or outpatient surgery center, basic computer knowledge, and working knowledge of medical terminology.

In return for your expertise and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary range of $21.00/Hr. to $26.00/Hr., depending on your qualifications and experience.
