As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with site leadership and clients to meet the goals of the service contract and achieve operational and clinical performance targets.
- Recruit, select, and develop nursing staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor or Master's degree in nursing.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state with board certification or board eligibility in medicine.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred.
- Previous clinical operations management experience and direct management experience in a correctional health setting are desired.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and experience with quality improvement programs and clinical auditing are preferred.
- Specialty certification in correctional healthcare (CCHP, CCHP-RN).
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
