Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bagger PT at IGA Southeast. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Actively engage with every customer, greeting them warmly, thanking them for their business, and offering a choice of bag type to ensure their purchases are handled with care.
- Order Fulfillment: Properly bag customers' orders to prevent damage and ensure a smooth checkout process.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with all colleagues and supervisors to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Customer Assistance: Place customers' purchases in their grocery cart or hand bags to them, and offer sincere assistance with loading their vehicles.
- Price Checks: Perform accurate price checks to ensure customers receive the correct total.
- Problem Resolution: Relay customer concerns to supervisors in a timely and professional manner.
- Cart Retrieval: Retrieve carts from the parking lot and maintain a clean and organized front-end area.
- Facility Maintenance: Clean and maintain the front-end, break room, restrooms, lobby, and parking lot to ensure a clean and safe shopping environment.
- Cart and Basket Maintenance: Clean garbage and debris from carts and baskets to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements:
- Personality: Possess a friendly, outgoing personality and a strong ability to work well with others.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally, as well as stand for extended periods and retrieve and push shopping carts.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
