As an Electrical Engineering Design Specialist at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining equipment starter products and systems for our Frick Brand equipment applications. This role requires a deep understanding of power electronics and motor control systems.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics - Motors / Starters / Drives, as well as 5 years of industry experience in the field of Power Electronics - Motors / Starters / Drives. Excellent verbal and written skills are also essential.
In this role, you will work closely with vendors to define and interpret design specifications, analyze product design requirements, and recommend solutions. You will also prepare and coordinate the release of documentation to support equipment starters / motor applications.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. If you are passionate about electrical engineering and power electronics, we encourage you to apply.
