We are looking for a highly skilled Thermodynamic Systems Designer to join our team at Johnson Controls. This is a full-time permanent position with an estimated salary of $95,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing new thermodynamic systems, maintaining existing ones, and processing sales orders for FRICK branded airside equipment used primarily in food processing rooms.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Designing, modeling, annotating/drawing, and BOM releasing of thermodynamic systems.
  • Providing technical guidance to Engineering, Suppliers, Purchasing, Customers, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Resolving shop and end-user issues, including improvements in design and fabrication.
  • Independently reading and interpreting schematics and drawings.
  • Awareness of applicable national and international codes and ability to interpret and seek experts when necessary.

You will also have the opportunity to travel occasionally to acquire training within the industry and resolve supplier and customer issues.
