We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Health Market Clerk to join our team at Hy-Vee, Inc. As a Health Market Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and keeping the sales floor tidy.
- Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Work effectively with other team members to achieve sales goals, maintain store appearance, and ensure a positive work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the store.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
This position is frequently exposed to temperature extremes and dampness. There are possible equipment movement hazards, electrical shock, and exposure to cleaning chemicals and solvents. This is a fast-paced work environment.
This position requires the ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail setting.
