Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager with a strong background in Business Associate roles, possessing 11 to 12 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CICS, z/OS Unix administration, z/OS, and Mainframe environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects within the mainframe domain, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
  • Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during the project cycle.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Must have a deep understanding of CICS, z/OS Unix administration, z/OS, and Mainframe environments.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and monitor the progress of various project components.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation to meet project goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve project issues.
  • A proactive approach to project management, with the ability to anticipate potential challenges.
