Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Finance Director in overseeing accounting operations and reporting for a significant client portfolio; serve as a key resource for both internal and external inquiries regarding procedures and issues.

Support the Finance Director in ensuring adherence to compliance standards, best practices, and Service Organization Control Report (SOCR) requirements for the corporate client portfolio.

Facilitate the development and implementation of necessary changes and assist in annual SOCR audits.

Supervise the review activities conducted by a team consisting of 1 Accountant and 2 JBS resources, ensuring compliance with objectives and the adequacy of procedures and documentation.

Proactively manage the oversight environment, ensuring that critical issues are identified and resolved.

Engage in ongoing communication with Senior Leadership through findings, dashboards, KPIs, and other reports, effectively communicating insights, framing issues, and providing actionable recommendations.

Contribute to corporate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly deliverables, including oversight of ASC 606 reporting.

Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop team members as necessary.

Participate in special projects and collaborate with the finance manager during month-end close reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA and/or CIA certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience is required.
  • Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with SSAE 16/SOC1 or SOX-related control design and review is a plus; forensic data analysis experience is beneficial.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications; familiarity with E1, PeopleSoft, and Corrigo is preferred.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually.
