The Area Manager will oversee the daily operations of our service area, ensuring Bayonet's goals and objectives are met. This includes planning, managing, and motivating a team of HVAC Service Technicians to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in HVAC Service Technicians.
- Lead and manage a team of five or more technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor technician performance, daily calls, and accuracy to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coach and mentor technicians to enhance their customer service skills and resolve complex residential HVAC system issues.
- Address customer inquiries and service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory to ensure timely availability of parts and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards and company policies.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Manager or in a similar leadership role for two years or more.
- Thorough knowledge of residential HVAC systems and industry safety standards.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and diagnostic skills.
- Relevant HVAC certifications, such as EPA certification.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background and pre-employment drug test.
