Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Customer Service Representative to join our team at Ferrotec (USA) Corporation. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing quotations, sales orders, bookings, releases, and shipments, and coordinating with other departments to resolve problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process quotations, sales orders, bookings, releases, and shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Initiate customer orders for changes, consignments, returned/repaired product, short shipments, and credits.
  • Enter sales orders into Oracle and update customer need dates as required.
  • Participate in audits of order entry to ensure compliance with J-Sox requirements.
  • Coordinate with other functions to ensure customers receive the best service possible.
  • Prepare support information for sales and engineering teams.
  • Exercise judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 5-8 years' experience, or Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent and 2-5 years' experience.
  • Experience with an ERP system, preferably Oracle.
  • Familiarity with international variances in cultural and legal issues related to sales transactions.
  • Bi-lingual language skills (Chinese/English or Japanese/English) are preferred and may be required in some business units.
Working Conditions

This is a sedentary role that primarily involves sitting/standing. Occasional light work may include moving objects up to 20 pounds. Prolonged use of computer monitors is required.
