As a Customer Service Loan Specialist, you will be part of a collaborative team within a Retail Banking setting, assisting clients with various banking transactions, whether at the platform, in the teller area, or via telephone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the opening of deposit accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and IRAs.
- Process applications for equity lines of credit and loans.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently.
- Engage in all operational areas of the branch to support team objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and excel in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 months recent experience as a Retail Bank Teller.
- At least 2 years of experience in a retail banking environment, focusing on new account openings and loan applications.
- Experience with conventional first mortgages is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including professional communication and a friendly demeanor.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
