We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at West Cancer Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and policies and procedures.
- Effectively manage resources such as supplies and equipment.
- Demonstrate professional work behavior and excellent customer service in all interactions.
- Certification and registration as R.T.(R) ARRT.
- State license in accordance with regulations in the state where work is performed.
- New Hires and Current Associates are required to have BLS Certification.

Knowledge and Skills- Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures.
- Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers.
- Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred).
The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination.
The physical requirements of this position are: medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact. Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
