Role Overview: As an Assistant Retail Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of store management under the guidance of the Store Manager. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Store Management: Assist in the management and supervision of all assigned areas, ensuring adherence to company policies regarding customers and associates.

  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes, including daily edits, scheduling compliance, and reporting as necessary.
  • Team Development: Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing non-exempt associates while ensuring adherence to personnel policies.
  • Budget Management: Monitor expenditures to stay within budget, particularly focusing on payroll hours as a primary controllable expense.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Supervise and coach retail associates to provide exceptional service across all customer touchpoints.

Store Presentation: Uphold the company brand by maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment, ensuring merchandise is displayed according to company guidelines.

Loss Prevention: Participate in training associates on loss prevention strategies and safeguard confidential information, cash, and merchandise.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess:

  • Two or more years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Strong supervisory and motivational skills.
  • Excellent customer service capabilities.
  • Fluency in English.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using store equipment.
