Job Summary:

The MRI Supervisor is a key member of the Diagnostic Imaging department, responsible for ensuring the clinical and operational performance of the MRI department. This role requires a strong leader who can coordinate clinical processes, maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, and implement standardization, performance improvement, integration, and optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate clinical processes and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and CMHS policies and procedures.
Provide input for the development of policies and procedures, training, and best practices for use within the MRI department.
Assist in implementing standardization, performance improvement, integration, and optimization strategies.
Work closely with the Diagnostic Imaging department leadership team to ensure employee competencies, training, and other departmental projects are completed in a timely manner.
Maintain operational efficiency, customer service, and quality standards.

Requirements:

Associate's Degree
Five (5) years' experience as an MRI Technologist
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Current registration through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR) certification, or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) certification and must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)(MR) certification within twelve (12) months of hire or transfer into the MRI department
Venipuncture Certification

Preferred:

Previous MRI management/supervisory experience in a hospital setting
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
Bilingual in Spanish
