About the Role

Beacon Building Products is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
  • Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to notify them of any discrepancies or issues with orders, and work to resolve these issues in a timely manner.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Data Entry: Accurately log data into computer systems, including inventory counts, bills of lading, and other relevant documentation.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with coworkers, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Publisher.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
