About the Role:

This position is part of a dynamic team at Disher, working with an automotive manufacturing company to develop automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop controls documentation for automation projects, including interface descriptions and sequence of operations.
  • Perform reach studies and time calculations for robot cells and other automation equipment.
  • Program robots (Yaskawa, Universal, Omron) and automation equipment (Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley - Rockwell, Keyence).
  • Assist in programming and troubleshooting of Injection Mold presses, Blow molding presses, associated Robots (Star, ARI, Yushin), and automated assembly equipment.
  • Work with other departments to ensure project completion and success.
  • Develop studies and run cycle time calculations.
  • Provide support and training for Maintenance personnel.
  • Assist with design and build automated equipment (cells) with the automation team.
  • Identify processes for automated improvements.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Mechanical skills.
  • Team player and able to work with all levels of employees.
  • Experience with Robot Programming, Omron Controllers, Mitsubishi Controllers, Allen-Bradley, Keyence vision systems and sensors.
  • Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming.
