Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Chaffin Luhana LLP. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing personal injury and product liability cases for discovery and trial, with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

About the Role:

  • Prepare cases for filing, discovery, and trial by reviewing and evaluating case files with the Managing Partner.
  • Manage the workflow of litigation and trial cases in our electronic case management system, meeting deadlines for discovery, filings, and trial orders.
  • Draft, file, and serve legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery in federal and state courts.
  • Coordinate witness travel, subpoenas, and witness preparation.
  • Organize and maintain case files, trial materials, deposition exhibits, and tangible evidence.
  • Develop summary exhibits, demonstratives, focus group presentations, deposition demonstratives, and openings/closings at trial using Microsoft PowerPoint.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of paralegal experience, with extensive experience in deposition preparation and summaries.
  • Demonstrated experience as a trial paralegal, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with attention to detail, and knowledge of court rules and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Benefits:

  • $60,000 - $85,000 salary range, commensurate with experience.
