Job Summary
The Electrical Control Panel Supervisor oversees the day-to-day functions of the AFC Industries Shop and Production Team. This role requires hands-on knowledge of building electrical control cabinets and mechanical sub-assemblies, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic panels and assemblies. The supervisor will assist in training technicians on technical and administrative tasks associated with equipment builds and quality control, and coordinate with sales and operations to meet delivery schedules and profitability goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review labor and available hours for new production orders
  • Coordinate shop personnel for production
  • Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures
  • Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards
  • Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, & Instrumentation
  • Troubleshoot panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions
  • Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication

Qualifications
Candidates must have 1-3 years of electrical control panel assembly experience, a strong background in Point to Point and Functional Testing, and the ability to understand and work from technical schematics. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a related technical degree preferred. The ability to lift 50lbs is also necessary.

Work Schedule
This full-time position offers a 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:30AM-3:30PM, with benefits including 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
