Are you a skilled electrical technician looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Fire Alarm Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, NC.

About the Role

This is a 70% travel role that requires you to work on large and special projects throughout North Carolina and surrounding regions. As an Electrical Fire Alarm Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire alarm systems, including pulling wire, installing panels, devices, and components, and performing repairs as needed.

You will also conduct system tests to verify functionality and troubleshoot issues to ensure compliance with local and national safety codes. Additionally, you will run low-voltage cabling, install conduit, and maintain a high standard of organization and safety.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems, intrusion alarms, and security systems.
  • Experience with access control systems is a plus.
  • Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and installing fire alarm panels and related low-voltage components.
  • Familiarity with EST (e.g., EST 4 or 3 fire alarm panels) or similar systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, site maps, and use fire alarm testing and troubleshooting equipment.
