Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Residence at Great Woods, a senior living community in Norton, MA. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and supporting the Resident Care Director in managing the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Resident Care Director in evaluating resident needs and developing service plans
  • Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of resident care associates
  • Evaluate residents' medical concerns and discuss with the ED, family, and MD as appropriate
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with all departments
  • Monitor resident care assistants' compliance with infection control and sharps disposal programs
  • Participate in community marketing efforts
  • Provide support to resident care associates regarding assignment questions or concerns
  • Ensure completion and review of incident/accident reports
  • Administer medications and perform other duties as requested
Requirements
  • Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment
  • At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting
  • Previous health experience in hospital and/or community setting
