Job Summary
LCB Senior Living is seeking a skilled Server to join our team at The Residence at Great Woods. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and promoting a restaurant-style dining atmosphere for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service and promote a positive dining experience for residents and guests.
- Work closely with the Culinary Services Director and/or Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs.
- Set tables in accordance with LCB standards and maintain a clean and organized dining environment.
- Serve residents and guests beverages as requested and review daily menu options with residents.
- Take and deliver accurate meal orders to residents and guests, and remove used or soiled items from the dining room as needed.
- Assist with preparation and execution of dining enhancement programs, special events, banquets, and theme meals.
- Communicate resident preferences and dietary needs to food service staff for menu planning purposes.
- Participate in pre-meal stand-ups and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations and provide excellent customer service.
- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as pushing and pulling carts, walking, sitting, and standing.
