Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and promote a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary Services Director and/or Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs.
  • Set tables according to LCB Senior Living standards.
  • Serve residents and guests beverages as requested.
  • Review daily menus with residents and take accurate meal orders.
  • Deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, and linen from the dining room as needed.
  • Assist with preparation and execution of dining enhancement programs.
  • Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices.
  • Support special events, banquets, and theme meals.
  • Communicate resident preferences and dislikes to the food service director and/or dining room manager for menu planning purposes.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Less than High School education.
  • Physical demands include finger and hand dexterity, visual and auditory acuity, and ability to lift 25 lbs.
