Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage daily physical cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with warehouse management to drive best practices in receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Research transaction history to determine the source of inventory variances or location transfer errors.
  • Report on monthly inventory KPIs to track performance.
  • Audit inventory transactions for accuracy and timeliness to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
  • Facilitate formal problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for inventory discrepancies or process failures.
  • Responsible for overall inventory control and storage of materials, including reconciliation with data systems.
  • Monitor inventory utilization with distribution centers and field personnel, and implement improvements and training as needed.
  • Provide support to internal departments on issues related to inventory movement and accuracy.
  • Identify root cause analysis of part shortages and document problems for follow-up.
  • Research reports to identify operational issues throughout production departments.
  • Prepare related reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and other documents to support analysis.
  • Application testing with IT, remote, and local users.
  • Work closely with the operations team to support implementation, training, and transition to D365 Advance Warehouse module.
  • Support new release testing against current requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, or inventory-related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in materials management, including inventory control experience.
  • Experience using MS Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications, and database systems required.
  • Experience preparing, importing, and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
  • Ability to analyze, create, and document effective SOPs.
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic combined with a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to identify process shortfalls and submit workable changes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
