Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Services Shift Supervisor to join our team at Roper St. Francis Healthcare. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping team, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Environmental Services staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of patient rooms and common areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality, patient satisfaction, and associate engagement.
  • Monitor and control supply usage and inventory levels, ensuring that we are operating within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Engineering, Safety, and Infection Control, to ensure that our facilities are safe and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Two years of external Environmental Services experience or one year of internal RSFH EVS experience required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
