Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at OSF HealthCare. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for screening slides of clinical specimens for evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in complex, technically specialized tasks involved in cytology processing and diagnosis.
  • Document findings and activities according to departmental terminology and protocols.
  • Perform routine quality control, participate in cellular evaluations, and provide procedural support.
  • Assist with technical oversight and direction of routine cytology processing procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with successful completion of a NAACLS accredited cytology program.
  • One year of laboratory experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include three years of full-time experience as a certified CT in a cytology laboratory and CT (ASCP) certification.
