Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Western Illinois Correctional Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our incarcerated patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and guide patient teaching activities under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient care and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an LPN in the state of Illinois.
  • Current CPR certification from a recognized organization (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety and Health Institute).
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • One year of clinical experience preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate of $34.00 per hour.
  • Shift differentials available from $3/hr - $4/hr (not available for day shift).
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with 50% match, and company-paid short-term disability.
