Job Title: Packaging Technician

At Clean Harbors, we are seeking a skilled Packaging Technician to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive services, including collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products, as well as recycling of light bulbs, oil, oil filters, engine fluids, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and dispose of damaged, discarded, or recalled products
  • Recycle light bulbs, oil, oil filters, engine fluids, and other materials
  • Operate a Box Truck to visit retail customer sites
  • Segregate, pack, and load materials and waste products for safe transportation
  • Prepare DOT shipping documents
  • Conduct projects/jobs according to site-specific Federal, State, and local regulations and health and safety plans
  • Execute jobs at Clean Harbors customer locations, including Fortune 500 companies
Requirements:
  • Previous commercial driving experience
  • Eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
